Christmas jammies

I made Abi and I matching nightgowns and a pair of pj pants for Doug. I really wanted to get Abi an old fashioned nightgown (like the ones they have at American Girl for the Samantha doll) but I just couldn't spend that much so I found this pattern and it had child size and adults. That is when I decided to make matching ones. It was really hard to make them because I am honestly not the best seamstress. I usually don't understand half of the instructions in patterns so I look at the pictures and try to figure out my own way of doing it. And it almost always works out! So, then I thought I couldn't leave Doug out so I used some leftover fabric from a different project and tried to use some of his existing pjs to make him some pants without a pattern. HA! You can see he is wearing them.. not because they were good but because he was a good sport. They were so bad. But two of three isn't bad!!
